Guelaguetza en Arizona

Guelaguetza is a festival that originated from Oaxaca, Mexico. It is considered one of the richest cultural festivities in Mexico as it celebrates the Indigenous diversity of the eight regions of the state, showcasing the different customs, foods, artistry, and mezcal of those areas. It is celebrated annually on every third and fourth Monday of July. In Phoenix, we celebrate it in October due to the extreme heat during the summer months.

This year we will celebrate our 5th annual Guelaguetza in Arizona at the Desert Botanical Garden.
